How many of you enjoy getting a tax return?

If you do, then I say you’re a fool. Yes, a fool.

Why?

Think about it. If the Government owe’s you money that means, you paid them too much, which also means you lent them your money interest free for an entire year!

This year, being the poor student that I am, I’m getting a refund total of $102. Looking at my historic track record of getting 20% – 30% in the stock market, that means the government cheated me out of $22 last year.

I don’t see how anyone could actually be glad about knowing their government is stealing from them.

And this isn’t even getting into the immorality of an income tax in the first place.

Come on, wake up America!

Why can’t we do stuff like this at State?

So, for the sake of an update, my father is doing much better.

He had surgery to bipass part of his duodenum that was constricted by the cancer and should now able to eat. He’s still in the hospital and is anxious to get out and resume consumption of food. Once that happens it will be a major step forward.

I’m keeping pretty busy. Getting reaquainted with NC and catching up on projects that have been delayed by school.

This is a must watch.
