Incorrect. Baptism is sign of the Covenant Christ makes with us.

It's the same sign as circumcision was for the jews.

The Isralites circumcized their infants therefore infants should be baptized under the New Covenant.

Different sign of the Covenant, but same principle.

Baptism is a picture of death, of beginning anew. To baptize someone who hasn’t undergone some change is nonsensical, regardless of what you believe about salvation itself.
